Reception immediately following the ceremony at the Art Resource Centre, 45 Queen St, Oshawa. In the event of rain, the ceremony will also take place at the Art Resource Centre.
The ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Day of Mourning Parkette and Fallen Workers Monument, located on the north side of City Hall at the southwest corner of King Street and Centre Street.
Join us for our Day of Mourning ceremony as we gather to remember those who have died, been injured, or become ill on the job, and to recommit to protecting workers and preventing further workplace tragedies. The enduring April 28 call to “Mourn the Dead; Fight for the Living” could not be more urgent on this National Day of Mourning.
