Labour of Love – A Community Arts and Music Celebration
Join the Durham Region Labour Council this Labour Day for a community celebration of music, art, solidarity, and Oshawa’s proud labour history.
Taking place at Memorial Park in Oshawa, Labour of Love will bring together workers, families, artists, musicians, and community members for an afternoon of live music, family friendly activities, food, and community connection. The event will feature live performances, art activities, face painting, balloon art, hot dogs, an ice cream truck, and more.
Labour Day has long been a time to come together to celebrate workers, community, and the power of collective action. In a city shaped by labour, our Labour of Love event is a chance to gather, connect, and celebrate the workers that built our communites!
